The Nationals FC 04 girls played in the 3v3 Live Dallas tournament on July 10th in The Colony, TX at 5 Star Soccer Complex. The girls started strong by posting 3 straight wins in pool play. Playing against the Dallas Texans in their final pool game resulted in their first loss but it was enough to send them to the championship game as the second seed. Before the championship game the weather turned for the worse with rain moving in and began flooding the fields. But the tournament continued on as the girls played the same Dallas Texans team again for the final. The girls fought through the pouring rain but it wasn't enough to finish on top. Posting their highest tournament finish yet the Nationals FC 04 girls continue to improve and play with more confidence.
Congratulations to Kiley, Ava, Addisyn, Sofia and Riley (not pictured).

The Nationals FC 04 girls played in the 3v3 World Tour tournament on June 26th in Lewisville, TX. The girls played in a combined U6 boys and girls division with only one other girls team. As second seed in their pool they went on to face the other girls team in the quarter finals. Winning 7-2 they moved on to the semifinal matchup against the top seeded boys team from the other pool. The girls played well with skill and confidence but couldn't match the boys on speed. Finishing off the 3rd place game with a narrow one goal deficit(3-2), the girls improved from their first matchup against the 1st seeded boys team in their pool. The girls continue to improve each tournament and learned they are not afraid to rough it up with the boys. Congratulations to Hailey, Kiley, Riley, Sofia and Ava for a hard fought 3v3 tournament in the Texas heat!
